Anchored in Love, Walking in Peace

relationships well being Oct 03, 2025

“Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” — Jude 1:21 KJV

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” — 1 John 4:7 NKJV

Pride often pushes us to insert ourselves where silence would have been wiser. But when we stay anchored in God’s love, we don’t need to fight for recognition or defend our worth. His love grounds us, reminding us that our true call is not to stir conflict but to be emotionally available for those who depend on us—our children, family, and community.

Keeping ourselves in the love of God gives us discernment: when to speak, when to be still, and when to walk away from environments of conflict. Going to work or into daily life free from unnecessary strife protects our peace and strengthens our capacity to love well. Our greatest witness isn’t in being right—it’s in being rooted in love.

Prayer

Father, keep me anchored in Your love. Deliver me from pride that seeks to stir conflict. Help me to walk into my job, my home, and every relationship with a spirit of peace and humility. Make me emotionally available for those who depend on me, so they may experience the overflow of Your love through me.

Faith in Action

This week, before entering any environment—whether at work, home, or community—pause and pray: “Lord, cover me in Your love. Make me a vessel of peace, not strife.” Notice how much more energy you have to be emotionally present for those who truly need you.
