Finding Strength in New Connections: Embracing God’s Design for Community
Sep 06, 2024
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV):
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
Thank you for joining me today. I’m excited to be here and share a piece of my heart with you. At Leaders Wellness Suite, we believe that personal growth and healing are deeply intertwined with our connections to others and our faith.
My experience alone is not enough. While my journey has shaped me, it is through connecting with others that I have found true life and purpose. It’s in those moments of sharing stories, offering a listening ear, and lifting each other up that we find the strength to overcome our challenges.
In my years as a transformation coach and through my own personal experiences, I’ve learned that we are not meant to walk this path alone. God created us for community, for relationships that nurture and support us. Whether it’s through the comforting presence of family, the wisdom of a mentor, or the camaraderie of friends, these connections are life-giving. They provide us with a sense of belonging and remind us that we are loved and valued.
For instance, when I faced my own trials, I had to step out, despite my family’s limitations, and find new territory. This meant seeking out new relationships and building a support network that could held the capacity to develop and support the calling on my life. It was a challenging and sometimes lonely journey, but it was also incredibly rewarding. Through these new connections, I found the strength and encouragement I needed to keep moving forward.
At Leaders Wellness Suite, we encourage you to seek out and nurture these connections. Reach out to someone you trust, share your story, and be open to receiving their support. In doing so, you’ll find that your burdens are lighter and your joys are greater.
Let’s lean into the strength that comes from our relationships and our faith. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and embrace the fullness of life that God intends for us.
Thank you for being here and for being part of this journey. Remember, you are not alone, and your connections with others are a powerful source of life and healing. May God bless you abundantly as you continue to grow and connect.
Point to Ponder: Think about a time when you felt deeply supported and connected, despite stepping into new territory. What were the key elements of that experience, and how did it bring out the best in you? How can you cultivate more of these positive connections in your current life?
