The Crossroad You Cannot Choose For Them
Jan 19, 2026
“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil.” — Deuteronomy 30:15
Sometimes the sadness is not about rejection. It’s about recognition. You can see that a crisis is more than pain—it’s a crossroad. A moment where help, healing, and change are possible. But readiness cannot be borrowed. You may stand at the intersection with love and clarity, yet they must choose the path for themselves.
Stepping back does not mean you failed. It means you honor the truth that growth requires ownership. Some opportunities must be recognized from the inside out.

Faith in Action
Today, I will pause before rescuing. I will ask myself: Is this help supporting growth—or postponing it? I choose peace and wisdom over urgency.
Prayer
Father God, thank You for giving me eyes to see clearly and a heart that still loves deeply. Help me release what I cannot choose for another. Guard my heart from sorrow that weighs me down, and fill me with peace as I trust You with their journey and mine, in Jesus name Amen.
